Eligibility for the Post of Assistant Professor

| Good academic record with at least 55% marks at Master degree level in the relevant subject or an equivalent grade in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A,B,C,D,E, & F at the Master degree in the concerned subject For the post of Assistant Professor in Information Technology one should have good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the Master’s degree in computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology, M.Sc. (IT), M.C.A., M.E. (Computer Engineering), M. Tech. (Computer Technology) Candidates should have cleared the eligibility test NET/SET for Asst. Prof. conducted by UGC/CSIR/University recognized by UGC. However, candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree Regulation 2009) in the concerned subjects as incorporated in relevant Goa University Ordinance shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. In case candidates having passed the said eligibility test or possessing Ph.D. in the concerned subject are not available or not found suitable, candidates fulfilling other conditions would be considered for appointment on purely temporary basis till the end of academic year. | English | — |
How to Apply for the post of the Assistant Professor
Complete applications in all respects along with attested photo copies of mark-sheets of all public examinations from SSC onwards, Caste Certificate and valid 15 years Residence Certificate (in Goa) issued by a Competent Authority of the Goa Government are to be produced along with original documents at the time of interview on 11th January, 2023.
